Each pieces is made from 1/8 inch birch plywood. The pieces come unpainted and unassembled. All the top layer pieces have 3M adhesive glue on the back. Just peel off the layer of paper, press on to the wood and you are good to go! No messy glue! Each piece also has score marks to show you where to put the small top pieces. This way they will be lined up and straight!

Color palette suggestions that you can take to your local craft store.  One of the best parts of this set is all the different color options you can use!
